Experience: A minimum of five (5) years experience in Project Management. A minimum of five (5) years experience in the support of Information Technology Systems; Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university required. Work experience resulting in an equivalent knowledge base may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year for year basis over and above the minimum experience required. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred. Attach any documents that you feel will help demonstrate that you meet the minimum qualifications listed above (i.e. resume, transcript, diploma, resume). Documents you wish to attach should be uploaded via EDJOIN by the filing deadline in order to be considered in the hiring process (pertains to current employees also). A scanner to upload required documents is available in the Human Resources office located at 1300 17th St., Bakersfield, CA 93301. • The documents will be scanned and emailed to the candidate. Candidates achieving a rating of 70% or better will qualify to continue in the eligibility screening process. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator’s license which must be maintained for the duration of the assignment. Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
