Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must provide the Personnel Commission with a copy of the following at the time of application (you may upload the documents to your online application): -Current three-year driving record (request a form "K4" at a local California DMV office or via mail request by filling out a California DMV INF 1125 form by visiting: https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/forms/inf/inf1125). The K4 form should be dated within 30 days of submitting your application. -Type-1 School Bus Special Driver Certificate with code 0, 1, or 6 restrictions (from DMV) -Class A or Class B California Driver License with passenger endorsement or equivalent -Current medical certificate approved by the DMV -Current first aid card *Per Board policy, employees are allowed on District campuses or facilities only if they are fully vaccinated. This resolution applies to all applicants upon hire. Applicants are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination status to the Personnel Commission Office on the date of the examination. Applicants will not be allowed to take the examination without being fully vaccinated. People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after completion of two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
