Requirements / Qualifications

- Verified copy of high school diploma or equivalent. - Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License or ability to obtain within one (1) month of employment. - Possession of a current certificate of completion for Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Service and Repair. - Possession of a current Environmental Protection Agency Section 608 Type Universal Refrigerant Certification. - Ability to obtain an aerial and forklift operator’s certificate within six (6) months of employment. Experience: - One (1) year of experience at apprentice or journey level in a large, industrial setting. - Completion of journey level apprenticeship program (typically three (3) years) plus two (2) years of journey level work experience in the maintenance and repair of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment and systems.
