GATEWAY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT Mechanic II/Bus Driver - Gateway Transportation Department 8.00 hrs/day Shift Schedule: 6:30 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. (Bus Driver) 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. (Mechanic) 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Unpaid lunch break) 12 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. (Mechanic) 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. ( Bus Driver) **Applicant will be required to obtain School Bus Driver's Certificate within six months of date of hire. SALARY: Range 16 $14.71 - $20.57 per/hr 260 workdays (15 District paid holidays) Applicant must be able to pass a Physical Assessment Exam and must pass Department of Justice (DOJ) fingerprint clearance. Applicant selected will be required to pay a fingerprint processing fee. Applicant selected will be required to complete mandatory safety training.
License and Certificate Requirements: - Possession of a valid Class A or B California Motor Vehicle Operator's License. - Possession of a Valid California School Bus Driver's Certificate. - Possession of a First Aid Certificate or Passage of the California Highway Patrol First Aid Test. - Possession of a valid CPR card. - Possession of a Medical Certificated (Form DL 51).
