          SDCOE is recruiting for Camp Counselor Interns to assist as needed in the Outdoor Education Program at Cuyamaca Outdoor School in the beautiful, 25,000 acre, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park in eastern San Diego County. Applicants must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities and fit into an existing team structure. Punctuality, attendance, patience and a strong work ethic are critical for success in this program. Previous experience working with students and a B.A. or B.S. in the sciences, education or related field is preferred. Song-leading and playing guitar is desirable. American Red Cross/American Heart Association CPR and first-aid certification (or approved higher certification) required before starting work. Positions will supervise bathroom breaks, showers, dining hall meals, wake-up and put-to-bed times in the cabins.
