Extended Care Aide -  St. John the Baptist Catholic School, Milpitas

Our extended care program is looking for a caring, compassionate and friendly child care worker, who has experience caring for children ages 6 to 13 years old. This is a part-time position Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:00PM till 6:00PM and on Thursdays from 12:30PM till 6:00pm.

Qualifications:
? Minimum age of 21
? 3+ years child care experience
? Adult and child CPR, First Aid training
? Excellent communication skills
? Able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
? Able to perform all physical aspects of the position, including frequently moving around, bending and reaching.

Job Description:
? Supervise and monitor students constantly.
? Help students with basic concepts/homework.
? Collaborate/Assist staff in a variety of functions, including observing, supervising and disciplining students when difficult behavior problems arise. Bring problems to the attention of the director.
? Monitor students during outdoor activities and participate with children in activities.
? Maintain program site and equipment neat and clean.
