Graduation from high school or the equivalent. As outlined in the No Child Left Behind Act, in addition to the above requirement, applications must meet one of the following: Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (48 units fron an accredited college or university); or obained an associates's or higher degree; or met a rigorous standard of quality and be able to demonstrate, through a formal state or local academic assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instruction reading, writing and mathematics.
**Must provide copy of high school diploma, official college transcripts or college diploma.** May be obtained after employment. Certification Requirement: Possession of a valid and current First Aide Certificate issued by the American Red Cross, including CPR training, this must be attained within the first 6 months of employment.
