BASIC FUNCTION: Under the general supervision of an assigned administrator; maintain child and expectant mothers records as required for program compliance; serve as liaison between the program, health care provider, and parents; and, assist health professionals with various health-related activities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year of experience in health services, Head Start, Stare Preschool or related environment such as medical office or school nurse office.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Some positions in this classification may be required to possess bilingual or biliterate skills in a designated second language.
Must obtain, upon employment, valid basic first aid and CPR certification.
Valid California driver's license.
Must be insurable and maintain insurability.
May be required to provide own transportation.
BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
