St. John the Evangelist Preschool is a growing program and feeder into St. John the Evangelist’s TK-8th Grade program. The position available entails: 1. Implement our structured lessons and art projects, facilitate our behavior development strategies, and direct circle time keeping in mind our educational goals under the direction of the Director and Master Teacher. 2. Introduce and create new activities and art projects within our educational goals that are fun and educational for the children. 3. Assist with the preparation of classroom materials. 4. Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents. 5. Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child. 6. Deliver reports to Director and Master Teacher on potential concerns about students as to management as needed. 7. Assist with the management of day-to-day classroom cleanliness, bathroom breaks, and snack/lunch preparation. 8. Assist in the supervision of snack, lunch, and rest time for all students. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of the 4 ECE core classes (12 units) and 6 months experience 2. Team player 3. Caring and nurturing attitude towards children 4.
