Must have a Child Development Teacher Permit or higher (includes at least 24 Units of Early Childhood education from an accredited institution). An AA Degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor's Degree in Early Education highly preferred.

          Comments and Other Information

          EED Substitute Pre-K teachers are responsible for the full schedule of the regular teacher and must maintain normal classroom routines and use appropriate re-direction and positive guidance strategies to diffuse classroom behaviors that may arise. The substitute is responsible for supervision of young children as deemed by Child Care Licensing Department Codes. We are seeking candidates who are available to work a minimum of 2 days per week. Coverage is needed everyday, but especially on Mondays and Fridays. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply. There is a particular need for bilingual candidates who are fluent in Cantonese and Spanish. Candidates must be willing to work at any and all SFUSD Early Education Pre-K locations.
