The SpiderSmart Learning Center at Cupertino is accepting applications for experienced tutors. Certified teachers or experienced tutors are preferred for these positions. Retired teachers are welcome to apply. We offer competitive wages, flexible hours, free training and a caring, relaxed atmosphere. Compensation will be based on education, experience, and completion of trainings.

Applicants must have a four year college degree and prior experience in teaching or tutoring. The fields in which we have the greatest needs are:

* English tutors: elementary through high school tutors for our Reading & Writing class which meet in one-on-one or small groups.

* English instructor for SAT writing

Interested applicants should be available to teach from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm weekdays (Wednesday to Friday), from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays, and 1-5pm Sundays, although the hours are flexible.
