Please attach the required documents. If coming from out of state, to teach in California it is necessary for you to have evidence of an English language authorization or to commit to completing the necessary course/tests for authorization within a year.

  • Certification (Single Subject Art)
  • Copy of Transcript
  • English Learner Authorization (or be CLAD certified)
  • Letter of Introduction (A personal letter, not to exceed 2 double-spaced pages, typewritten describing experience, talents, interests, qualifications and goals. The letter should state reason for interest in the position for which you are applying.)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Please attach three letters of recommendation, including one from an immediate supervisor within the last 12 months.)
  • Resume
  • Test Results/Materials (Please attach copies of any relevant testing: CBEST, CSET, etc.)
