About the Employer
The Chawanakee Unified School District is within a 30-minute drive of Fresno, Madera, and Merced. We are located in Eastern Madera County, extending from the floor of the San Joaquin Valley to the crest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, including a significant amount of territory in the Sierra National Forest. The district encompasses the communities of North Fork, O’Neals, Tesoro Viejo, and Millerton Preserve. Spectacular recreational areas of Bass Lake and Yosemite National Park surround North Fork while the San Joaquin River borders Tesoro Viejo and Millerton Preserve on the eastern side. The district is close to Badger Pass and China Peak ski slopes, and we are just minutes from Millerton Lake State Park. The district is also surrounded by a multitude of High Sierra lakes and resorts.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate for this position (Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Management, Ed. Technology or other equivalent disciplines), preferred. Minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience in the development, installation and maintenance of information systems. Valid California Driver’s License. Upon hire must clear fingerprint scan, submit proof of negative TB and pass pre-employment physical.

Maintain the District Local Area Network – The number one priority of this position is to make sure the network is up and running when the bell rings in the morning. This consists of updating and maintaining the network hardware and software, updating against virus attacks, providing security against outside attacks and providing the users with the applications they need.
Dates: Start As Soon As Possible
Time: Five (5) days per week: Monday through Friday, Eight (8) hours per day (TBD)
