About the Employer
The Chawanakee Unified School District is located in eastern Madera County and spans approximately 867 square miles, extending from the foothills just 15 minutes from Woodward Park and near Madera Ranchos to the Sierra National Forest. Chawanakee Unified serves students in transitional kindergarten (TK) through 12th grade. Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate for this position (Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Management, Ed. Technology or other equivalent disciplines), preferred. Minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience in the development, installation and maintenance of information systems. Valid California Driver’s License. Upon hire must clear fingerprint scan, submit proof of negative TB and pass pre-employment physical.

Comments and Other Information
Maintain the District Local Area Network – The number one priority of this position is to make sure the network is up and running when the bell rings in the morning. This consists of updating and maintaining the network hardware and software, updating against virus attacks, providing security against outside attacks and providing the users with the applications they need.
Dates: Start As Soon As Possible
Time: Five (5) days per week: Monday through Friday, Eight (8) hours per day (TBD)
