The 2018 Classified Job Fair is SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. < b> ***THE PRE-REGISTRATION PERIOD TO THIS EVENT HAS ENDED. WALK-INS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND THE JOB FAIR BEGINNING AT 8:30 AM TO ALLOW TIME TO REGISTER. CANDIDATES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO BRING MULTIPLE COPIES OF THEIR RESUME.***

Clerical/Administrative Assistant As a Clerical, Administrative or Executive Assistant, you will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of daily office operations, work units and programs. Depending on the position and qualifications, you may be assigned to support supervisors, school administrators, middle to high level managers or department heads and receive general to limited supervision.

Custodian/Maintenance The responsibilities of Custodians, Utility Persons, and Maintenance Custodians may include cleaning and maintaining school facilities, office spaces, and adjacent grounds along with record keeping and making deliveries.

Drivers Bus Drivers, Food Service Assistant/Delivery Drivers, and Warehouse Worker/Delivery Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading goods, delivering student meals, and transporting supplies and equipment to schools and other designated locations.

Food Services Cooks and Food Service Assistants prepare, cook, and bake a variety of foods in large quantities for the nourishment of students, in accordance with governmental and healthy eating guidelines. Specific cooking/baking and organizational skills required.

Paraeducator As a Paraeducator, you may assist a classroom teacher in providing instruction to individual students or small groups, provide after school one-on-one tutoring, monitor and assure the health and safety of students by following health and safety practices. The needs of students in special education vary from mild, moderate, to severe.

Substitute/Relief Child Care Assistant As a Substitute/Relief Child Care Assistant you will assist teacher(s) and staff in the supervision and care of young children in the Head Start, Child Development Center, and State Preschool programs. You will provide assistance to children who are primarily preschool/toddler age.
