Emmy Award Winning Actor, Tony Plana is collaborating with Scripps Performing Arts, Inc. to deliver a musical theatre education for the underserved youth in San Bernardino. A national search is underway for the most talented educators proficient in teaching acting, voice, dance, and/or film willing to share their passion with children in grades 2-12. Talented musical theatre artists must be available during two 15 week semesters, during the Fall of 2018 and Spring of 2019. Credentials are helpful but not required. Film Makers, please submit samples of your work. Film classes are for young people in middle and high school. There is also a film class for young people who have been incarcerated – this is a vehicle for “telling their story”, a unique opportunity for their growth and well-being.
