Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree is required, with major coursework in child development, public policy/administration or a closely related field. A Master’s degree in ECE, Child Development is preferred. 2. Prior experience in classroom staff management and supervision with a minimum of five years administrative experience in related government, business, education and/or community-based organizations. 3. Demonstrated experience working with and/or knowledge of private and publicly funded early childhood education systems (including federal and state programs) as well as California’s current efforts and tools used to improve quality in early education. For example, the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS), Environmental Rating Scales (ERS), Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP), ASQ-3 and ASQ-SE, Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT) and EduSnap Data Collection. 4. Successful teaching experience with applicable credential or child development permit, or alternately, successful managerial experience in the field of education, public policy, public administration or related fields or comparable work experience. 5. Proficient in written and spoken Spanish language skills preferred.
