Credential Requirements: Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or ability to obtain the necessary credential. Certification to teach English Learners. Knowledge of Common Core State Standards. Experience and Spanish speaking preferred.
All of the following must be submitted by the Application Deadline Date in order to be considered: 1) Completed EdJoin On-line Application Form, 2) Letter of Interest or Introduction, 3) Professional Resume 4) Copy of Credential or CTC online verification showing expiration date 5) English Language Learner Authorization (CLAD/CTEL, etc.) 6) Minimum of two recent letters of recommendation from current or previous supervisors. Candidates selected for personal interviews may be required to present a classroom lesson plan that engages and meets the diverse needs of the student population.

Lone Pine is a small rural community located on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountains at the base of Mt. Whitney, approximately 200 miles northeast of Los Angeles on Hwy 395. A wide variety of recreational activities include skiing (Mammoth Lakes is 100 miles north) hiking, mountain climbing, golf, tennis, boating and fishing. The District includes 2 schools: one high school with 82 students and one elementary/middle school with 219 students.
