TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE: PRESCHOOL INSTRUCTOR 6.75 HOURS/185 DAYS 7:45 A.M. -3:15 P.M. QUALIFICATIONS:. Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college-level course work including 12 units in early childhood education (ECE) and one year educational experience working with preschool-age children. 2. Valid Children’s Center Permit, Child Development Teacher Permit or comparable credential. 3. Provide instruction, care and assistance to preschool-age children. 4. Coordinate personnel, parent participants and resources to meet the needs of students. 5. Organize, oversee and participate in a variety of classroom functions including instructional, food, child care and cleaning services to meet student needs. 6. Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional activities to meet the emotional, physical and educational needs of children and assure students are prepared for kindergarten. 7. Monitor and assess student needs and progress. 8. Develop and implement instructional activities to enhance student skills in designated developmental areas. 9. Determine appropriate action within clearly defined guidelines. 10. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. 11. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 12. Prepare and maintain student records and files. 13. Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action. 14. Work independently with little direction. 15. Meet schedules and time lines. 16. Valid First Aid and CPR certificates issued by an authorized agency. 17. Valid California Class C Driver’s License.
