English Teacher St. Vincent de Paul High School St. Vincent de Paul High School is a Catholic, co-ed high school located in Petaluma, California. Founded over 100 years ago, St. Vincent de Paul High School educates students through a college preparatory curriculum that develops their academic, spiritual and social potential. St. Vincent de Paul High School seeks a part-time, 60% English teacher to teach AP English, English 12, Creative Writing and Expository Writing. Teacher will perform a full range of duties, including but not limited to: • Preparing/implementing lesson plans that lead to student mastery of curriculum content • Developing /implementing integrated curriculum units, differentiating as needed • Regularly assessing student progress to refine instruction and meet student needs • Participating regularly in professional development opportunities and collaborative meetings • Communicating frequently with students, students’ families, colleagues and other stakeholders Qualifications: Applicants who possess the following skills will make the strongest candidates: • California Teaching Credential or equivalent experience; secondary school level teaching experience preferred • Relevant education • Demonstrated ability to implement varied classroom instructional strategies
