The TK/Kindergarten Teacher creates a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports early childhood growth. This role includes planning and delivering hands-on activities such as early literacy and math instruction, phonics, storytelling, music and movement, art projects, and play-based learning centers. The teacher fosters social-emotional development through structured routines, cooperative play, and positive behavior supports. Emphasis is placed on building foundational skills, encouraging curiosity, and promoting independence. The teacher also monitors student progress, ensures a safe classroom environment, and collaborates with families and staff to support each child’s success. Dr. Lewis Dolphin Sr. Charter School serves approximately 200 plus students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. This small environment seeks those highly motivated learners who put children's learning as their priority and embraces the Professional Learning Community (PLC) with a unique focus on a caring and open community. Educators within Stallworth Charter are supported with high levels of unique teacher support to target the learning needs for students across the Stockton area. Requirements / Qualifications
Copy of Credential OR Certificate of Clearance: To be applicable, the candidate must be fully engaged in a credentialing program at the student teaching level if not fully certified and must meet regularly with the principal or leading credentialing coach to remain employed. MUST HAVE: 3 Letters of recommendation Letter of Introduction Resume
