THE FREMONT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT CLASSIFIED JOB FAIR is scheduled for Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 3 pm to 6 pm, and is designed for candidates interested in employment as a Bus Driver 1, Bus Driver 2, Child Nutrition Assistant 1, and/or Van Driver. On June 21, 2018, candidates may be tested for Bus Driver 1, Bus Driver 2, Child Nutrition Assistant 1, and Van Driver positions. Interested candidates may apply online, or at the Job Fair (there will be computers set up with Edjoin). Candidates that attend the Job Fair may choose to complete the recruitment testing that day; those that apply online but do not attend the Job Fair may be invited to test on a different date. Walk-ins are welcome! A Photo ID will be required to test. Please refer to the information below for other required documents.           The Fremont Unified School District is a Merit System District and fills all vacancies in the classified service through competitive examinations. All applications and supplemental information will be reviewed to determine the candidates whose training and experience most closely match the requirements of the position. Those who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in the testing process, which may include written, oral and/or performance exams. The testing results will determine the rank of the candidates from which an eligibility list is prepared.
