Requirements / Qualifications
The LEAD (Learning Emotional and Academic Determination) Program is a county-operated program serving primary-grade students who have significant social emotional and behavior challenges. In partnership with our schools and districts, the LEAD team provides students an opportunity to receive meaningful and responsive academic and social emotional support in a Special Day Class setting located on a comprehensive school site. We are seeking a highly qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team to help create and foster safe and productive learning environments for our students. This position will join the LEAD team at Silva Valley Elementary School in El Dorado Hills. Education: ~ Bachelor's degree ~ Valid CA Education Specialist credential ~ Mild/Mod or Mod/Sev authorization Experience: ~ One year in related teaching assignment ~ Work with students with severe handicaps preferred Located at Silva Valley Elementary School working with grades 1st - 4th
