About the Employer

About Da Vinci Schools We are a thriving non-profit network of free, public charter schools open to all students in California. Da Vinci Schools operate five high schools, a unique elementary model combining homeschool with on-campus instruction, and a post-secondary pathway leading to college degree completion. At Da Vinci, students are preparing for college, career and life simultaneously through a project-based, real-world curriculum that is shaped by industry and higher education partnerships to ensure our students have access to a broad range of choices when they leave Da Vinci. Our student community is comprised of close to 2,700 students in grades TK-16 from 119 zip codes across Los Angeles County. Our student demographics are: 85% identify as students of color, 38% qualify for free or reduced-price meals, 4% are English language learners, and 12% receive special education services. Da Vinci Schools has received national recognition as One of America’s Most Innovative Educational Organizations and 1 of only 10 schools in the U.S. to win a $10 million XQ ‘Super School’ grant to reimagine high school. Dr. David Brown, the former executive director of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, said, "Da Vinci Schools are among the very finest I’ve seen.” Get to know Da Vinci Schools through the following video and website: https://vimeo.com/77631211 http://davincischools.org/ ***We prioritize assembling a staff that reflects our student diversity.
