Job Description / Essential Elements:    Print   
* Strong background and experience with curriculum and instruction, evaluation and educational leadership roles including working knowledge of explicit lesson plan design, active supervision, coaching, and differentiated instruction; * Ability to use multiple sources of data as diagnostic tools to assess, identify and inform instructional improvement; * Knowledge of and experience working in a Professional Learning Community; * Ability to model and facilitate positive student behavior through a systems approach of prevention and responsiveness to both classroom and school-wide discipline; * Demonstrated ability to perform in a fiscally responsible manner; * Excellent interpersonal skills which include the ability to listen and respond effectively to the concerns of all employees and the community; * Visible and active in school/community activities; * Master's Degree; * Minimum of three to five years of successful teaching experience; * Previous administrative experience is desirable; Possession of valid California teaching credential and administrative credential; * Good health, physical vigor, and drive; * Evidence of good character, appearance, and personality; * Serve as a member of the District Management Team working on budgets, policies, curriculum, and staff development; * Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as the Principal upon request.
