CIF/NCS/EBAL

• Verifies athletic eligibility
• Requests sanction for contest as needed
• Responsible for follow-up interpretation and dissemination of information

GAME PREPARATION

• Coordinates transportation for athletic teams
• Contracts officials for appropriate athletic contests
• Recruits and assigns personnel to work as ticket sellers, ticket takers, crowd supervisors, scorers, timers, announcers and for other game management duties as needed
• Initiates requisitions for the issuance of checks for officials, supervisory personnel, transportation and entry fees
• Reviews crowd control assignments with all supervisors, including police officers

GAME MANAGEMENT

• Coordinates game management for all home athletic contests with contest workers, building administrators, contest officials and police personnel

BUDGET AND PURCHASING

• Responsible for planning the athletic budget
• Counter-signs all requests for purchase of athletic equipment and supplies
• Ensures implementation of an efficient system for equipment acquisition, destruction, repair, custody and inventory

SCHEDULING

• Reviews all athletic schedules and submits recommendations to the principal
• Secures permits for the use of practice and game facilities and coordinates with the physical education department chair, the Office of School-Community Recreation and the District Athletic Coordinator

GENERAL

• Publishes or announces athletic events to inform student body of coming events
• Corresponds with other schools and the NCS as necessary for the conduct of the program.
• Represents the high school principal at required meetings. (EBAL League meetings, Booster meetings, City Recreation Directors, NCS etc.)
• Coordinates award presentations at the local school programs
• Makes recommendations to the principal for coaching assignments
• Works with coaches and school administrators to publish, implement and update coaches handbooks and athletic codes
• Convenes local school athletic board or council to deliberate various athletic matters

CONDITIONING COACH AND ATHLETIC TRAINER

• Scheduling for teams
• Implementing strength and conditioning programs for all teams
• Evaluating and Supporting Strength and Conditioning Coach and Athletic Trainer
