Job Summary

Assists in the planning, implementing, supervising and evaluating activities provided within a specific program area, such as Education, Technology, Sports, Social Recreation, Fine Arts or Health & Life Skill activities. 1. Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes: • engaging and interacting with members to promote and stimulate program participation; • participate in new member orientation process; • provide guidance and role modeling to members; • maintain a safe, clean and positive environment for our members and visitors; • maintain control and an accurate inventory of program supplies and equipment. Program Development and Implementation 2. Effectively implement and administer programs, services and activities for members and visitors. 3. Monitor and evaluate programs, services and activities to ensure safety of members, quality in Programs and appearance of the club at all times. Prepare periodic activity reports. 4. Program reports and calendars. 5. Assist in promoting and marketing programs to club members and parents. 6. Maintain accurate daily attendance and activity records. 7. Ensure a productive work environment by participating in weekly scheduled staff meetings and training sessions. 8. Provide direct supervision of all boys and girls ages 6-18 within your program area. 9. Develop character of members through programs and activities Conduct daily arts and crafts activity for a variety of ages. 10. Support and direct volunteers working in art department.

Requirements / Qualifications

48 or more College Units, college experience preferred or pass the Standardized Instructional Aide test
