Requirements / Qualifications
Multiple Subjects with CLAD, ELA, LDS, or SB 1969 Summer Per Diem - #SSCE-17 ELA and Math intervention for incoming 3rd grade students who are Significantly Off Grade Level and Not on Grade Level. Our incoming third graders will engage in theme-based literacy activities that focus on developing students' foundational skills, grade level reading and writing about reading. In addition to reading, students will participate in Math instruction that will focus on the following: extending understanding of base-ten notation, building fluency with addition and subtraction, using standard units of measure and describing and analyzing shapes. June 18, 2018 - July 26, 2018 Monday - Thursday 4.5 hours per day (including 3 hours teaching and 1 hour Collaborative time) 2nd Grade Curriculum David Lubin Elder Creek H. W. Harkness Hollywood Park John Still K-8 Nicholas Oak Ridge Pacific Peter Burnett Sequoia Woodbine (hosted at H. W. Harkness) Susan B. Anthony (hosted at John Still K-8) Professional Learning Days (All 1, 2, and 3 below need to be attended): 1. Publisher Training Dates for 2nd Grade: May 15 and 16 or May 1 and 17 or May 22 and 23, 2018 (3 hours) 2. District Training Date for ELA: Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 9 - 3 p.m. 3.
