The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for an Instructional Technology Specialist in the Educational Technology unit of the Integrated Technology Services Division. The Instructional Technology Specialist is responsible for assisting teachers and stakeholders in the use of educational technology and other programs and related activities; implementing and maintaining services within established guidelines and standards; and facilitates the use of educational technology in districts, including with administrators. This position will be required to maintain websites and databases related to service delivery, prepare reports to comply with grant or program requirements, and provide training for SDCOE and district staff for the purpose of integrating technology and software systems into instructional programs. This position requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to to a bachelor’s degree in education, information technology, or related field, and three years work experience focused on integration of technology for instructional programs in an educational setting. This position also requires, at time of hire, a valid CA driver's license, in order to travel to school sites around San Diego County.
