Servite High School is expecting high student interest in our newly implemented Computer Science STEM pathway (through Project Lead the Way) and are looking for possible computer science instructors to help in growing the program. Currently, we offer three sections of computer science courses, but we expect that number to grow quickly over the next three years. This position is perfect for a candidate who is passionate and knowledgeable about computer science, programming, and coding. Experience with Python and Java a plus. Candidate should be passionate about teaching high school students and growing their knowledge of computer science so they can successfully get into competitive college programs, attain internships, and get jobs in the computer science industry. Candidate will be required to complete certification training at the school's expense which can occur during the school year in an online class or for two weeks in the summer. This training/certification is per course taught by this instructor. May be required for two or more courses, depending on scheduling and student interest.
