The minimum qualifications for an Assistant Principal position at Edward B Cole Sr. Academy include: -A Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. -Valid administrative credential or eligibility for administrative certification in California. -At least 3 years of successful teaching experience in a K-12 setting. -Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a school setting. -Knowledge of current educational trends, best practices, and instructional strategies. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. -Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and assessment practices. -Ability to manage resources effectively and implement policies and procedures. -Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in education, preferably charter education (Charter petition writing skills are a plus) -Dedication to the mission and vision of Edward B Cole Sr. Academy. -Willingness to participate in professional development and continuous learning opportunities. -Clear background check and fingerprint clearance as required by state regulations.
