Requirements / Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Must be enrolled or have completed 6 Semester units in Child Development/Early Childhood Education. Must take and pass the District’s Proficiency Test. Must have paid or volunteer experience in a Preschool setting Must be a team player. Must be flexible. Must be nurturing and caring to children. Must be open to constructive criticism. Must be open to learning new ways of working with children. Must interact with children in a positive way. Must be willing to upgrade one’s education. Must maintain a cooperative working relationship with staff and parents. Must meet State health requirements: Current physical examination and verification of TB Clearance.
