The CHIME Institute was founded in 1990 to develop and implement model programs that support all children to achieve their maximum potential, and that provide dynamic research and training environments to disseminate best educational practices.  CHIME emphasizes

Requirements / Qualifications

CCC-SLP - Dynamic caseload including articulation, language, pragmatics, AAC - Single campus servicing TK-8th grades - Supervision of an experienced, full-time SLPA - Supportive, collaborative teachers and administration CHIME Charter School, a fully inclusive K-8 campus, is seeking a CCC-SLP for the 2018-2019 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting. Although past experience in an inclusive environment is not necessary, it is imperative that the candidate possess a commitment to educating all students in the general education classroom as well as strong interpersonal skills. Speech and Language Pathology Services Credential. Job description includes direct services as delineated in students’ IEPs, scheduling of services, teacher/school staff consultation and training, review and documentation of services in Welligent, preparation of present level of performance (PLP) and goals / objectives in Welligent, IEP meeting attendance, Welligent goals / objectives progress reporting when due, and assessments upon receipt of signed assessment plans (interviewing, observing, testing, scoring and report writing). The services will also include any other tasks the parties may agree on.
