      Comments and Other Information

      Minimum Qualifications: The person we are seeking is a high-energy level individual who can bring proven managerial techniques and professional human resources experience to the district. AND The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this classification would typically be acquired through graduation with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in human resources management, business administration, or other related field and at least five years of recent experience in a supervisory or management capacity in an integrated human resources, payroll and financial environment. Work experience in a Merit System school district is highly desirable. OR Any combination of the above training and/or experience may be considered. Compensation and Benefits: Initial salary placement is negotiable and dependent upon evaluation of experience and training. Stipend for Masters and other advanced degrees is added to base salary. Fringe benefits include health, vision, dental, and life insurance. In addition the district also provides generous sick leave privileges. This position enjoys membership in the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). The Selection Process: The process will include an evaluation of application materials scheduled for the week of April 23rd. A limited number of candidates demonstrating the strongest qualifications will be invited to appear before a panel on May 7 that will appraise general and technical qualifications through an oral examination. All notifications are done via e-mail. Candidates who successfully pass the examination process will be placed on an eligibility list. Those candidates in the top three ranks will be invited to participate in a final selection interview. The final selection interview will be scheduled approximately 7-14 days after participation in the general and technical qualification examination. The person selected will serve a probationary period of one year. Any candidate who attempts to directly contact individuals from the Personnel Commission, the Board, or the district, with the intent of influencing any decision relating to the selection process, will be disqualified from candidacy for this position.
