Minimum Qualifications:

BA Degree with minimum units in subject area. Valid Californica Clear Credential, EL Authorization

Desired Qualifications:

Three years successful classroom teaching experience.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Teaches subjects to pupils, utilizing course of study adopted by the Board of Trustees and other appropriate learning activities.
2. Provides planned learning experience in order to motivate pupils and best utilize the available time for instruction.
3. Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.
4. Evaluates pupils' academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports, communicating same with parents through conferences and other means.
5. Participates cooperatively with the principal or his designee to develop the performance objectives by which he/she will be evaluated in conformance with District guidelines.
6. Other duties as may be assigned.
