Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES All Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors: 1. Current R-2000 Lifeguard Certificate 2. Current First Aid, and Professional Rescuer CPR certificates 3. **Current Water Safety Instructor Certificate MUST BE ATTACHED for those candidates who are applying for Water Safety Instructor OR for BOTH Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor.
NOTE: Lifeguard R-2000 is equivalent to Community First Aid, Basic Life Support, CPR, and Lifeguard Training. This one certificate covers all three classes. **COPIES OF DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED MUST BE LEGIBLE**
- Certificate Copy (Current R-2000 Lifeguard Certificate)
- CPR/First Aid Certification (Current Standard First-Aid and Professional Rescuer CPR certificate)
