S.T.A.R. Academy – Haynes Family of Programs is a state certified Non-Public Agency (NPA) & Non-Public School (NPS). We have an immediate need for a Licensed/Credentialed Speech and Language Therapist in the city of Los Angeles, CA (Inglewood, Hawthorne, Downtown LA, Koreatown, Fairfax, Hollywood, Mid-City, Silver Lake, Echo Park, South Los Angeles, Los Feliz,...etc).

We have immediate work on a part-time basis, providing Educational Related Services for students from grades K-12. S.T.A.R. Academy is a state-approved Non-Public Agency (NPA) that provides special education or related services to thousands of students. Services will take place at the student’s home or school. All of our Education Specialists/Therapists are “Independent Contractors”. Most clients prefer late afternoons or evenings. On occasion, clients request weekends or mornings. Earn $95-$120 per hour to start for part-time position. We are only looking for Therapist that can be available for a minimum of one student throughout the year.

Qualifications:

• Therapist must have a current Speech & Language Credential/License
• Provide direct services as needed to special needs students
• Must be able to pass background check
• Tuberculosis Test required.
• Communicate by email/phone with Special Education Coordinator.
• Be able to mail in attendance and progress reports on given deadline.
