Head Coach Positions Available: - Varsity Girls Basketball - Junior Varsity Girls Basketball - Freshman/Sophmore Boys Basketball - Freshman Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach Positions Available: - Assistant Football Please contact Eric Ostrowski, Athletic Director, for further information or to submit your resume at eostrowski@sjusd.org Include the following documents in your e-mail: - Resume of Experience - Letter of Recommendation Requirements: • Experience coaching at JV or Varsity levels • Knowledge of the Game, Game Strategies, Practice Organization and Drills • Hold a valid CPR/First Aid Certification • Knowledge and understanding of the CIF and State Federation rules • Must be able to complete the NHS coaching certification within specified time period prior to any student contact and/or assuming coaching responsibilities • Must have knowledge of and follow ASB fund raising regulations Responsibilities: • Oversee and coordinate entire Program • Ability to organize and implement practice plan, game strategies and a conditioning program • Develop, establish, coordinate and oversee a coaching staff at all levels • Cooperates with other coaches to facilitate the transition/sharing of athletes between sports • Ability and willingness to organize and work with a booster club adhering to Ed code and ASB procedures. • Strictly adhere to all School, District, League and CIF rules. • Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with the AP of Activities and School Administration
