LPS Hayward Principal Opportunity
LPS is seeking the next visionary leader for our Hayward campus. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced leader to work with a high-performing team of innovative and collaborative educators who are deeply committed to supporting all students in becoming college and career ready community leaders. He or she will have the support of an Assistant Principal, two Academic Deans, a Student Services Coordinator and team of student support specialists, as well a team of College Counselors.
A high school where 60% of the students qualify for free/reduced lunch and 80% are first generation college students, LPS Hayward is far surpassing other similar schools in its student achievement, rigor and innovation of its academic program. 93% of LPS Hayward students complete all A-G courses. 90% are accepted to a four-year college and 30% are offered admission to a UC campus. The school has been awarded a “GOLD” designation in the Best High Schools rankings by US News and World Report and was recognized by Innovate Public Schools as one of the top performing Bay Area High Schools for low-income Latino students.
