Requirements / Qualifications

Education & Experience: Previous administrative experience at the principal or superintendent level required. Possesses a California Administrative Credential. Advanced degree or equivalent experience. Demonstrates success as a classroom teacher, preferably at the TK-8 level. (Please refer to the Arcata School District Superintendent Brochure link for additional Qualifications/Experience). Compensation & Contract Term: All items of employment contract negotiable to include: Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000, dependent on qualifications and experience. Multi-year contract negotiable. Family medical, dental, and vision benefits. Effective date of employment will be July 1, 2018.
