Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Professional Development, the Program Administrator administers, plans, and develops professional development programs for P-12 educators. The Program Administrator manages the delivery of programs and services to program participants and is responsible for all aspects of program operations: recruitment, applications, registration, enrollment, hiring and coordination of faculty, course and curricular maintenance and alignment with CTC standards, accreditation, client interface, completion and credential submission.
Job Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates preliminary administrative credential program and superintendent preparation program
- Promotes and tracks recruitment and admissions processes
- Manages faculty and instructional interface on the LMS
- Monitors and counsels applicants on admission policies and procedures. Tracks candidate progress, assists with admission decisions
- Communicates in person, by telephone and in writing with students about the status of admissions applications and documents all communication and activity in a CRM daily
- Prepares orientation, technical and course informational materials for faculty and participants
- Maintains currency in program standards, CAEP, CAPSL, and CalAPA through professional associations and personal commitment to the field
- Maintains and updates course materials in conjunction with faculty and instructional designer
- Maintains continuous and timely communication amongst all constituents
- Interfaces with and acts as CalAPA coordinator and facilitates the credential recommendation process with credential office
- Contributes to, and works proficiently and successfully within a small team environment

Preferred Experience
- Masters Degree in Education or closely related field
- Five years in Educational Administration
- Knowledge of advanced educational leadership curriculum
- Familiarity with CTC credential programs and accreditation processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Experience with on-line teaching and learning
- Experience with Learning Management Systems
- Detail orientation
