The TTT Online, STAR, and SSETI Programs are a part of the California STEM Institute for Innovation and Improvement (CSI3) at California State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). Are you ready to make the transition into a second career? Make a difference… TEACH! Do you have a bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, English, Social Science or a related field and have always thought about teaching? We have options for you. The California STEM Institute for Innovation and Improvement (CSI3) offers three unique programs to help you obtain your teaching credential in as little as one year. Our programs offer job placement support and candidates qualify for up to $30,000! Transition to Teaching (TTT) Online Program Program benefits: · Complete your Math or Science Credential in 1 year! · Job placement assistance (work full time while completing your credential coursework) · Ongoing advising and support · Practical classroom experience through our Lab School · All participants receive an iPad · $5,000 stipend for all participants (plus qualify for the $4,000 TEACH Grant) STEM Teacher in Advanced Residency (STAR) Program Program benefits: · Complete your credential and Masters degree in 15 months! · Work alongside a Master Teacher while earning your credential · Job placement assistance after you complete the credential program · Practical classroom experience through our Lab School · Complete an internship in a STEM –related field · All participants receive a $30,000 living stipend (plus you are eligible for the TEACH Grant $4,000) Secondary Special Education Teacher Interventionist (SSETI) Program Program benefits: · Complete your mild/moderate credential in one year! · Open to Math, Science, English, and Social Science majors · Practical classroom experience through our Lab School · Obtain Job placement assistance · All participants receive a $7,250 stipend + $400 classroom kit (plus qualify for the $4,000 TEACH Grant) · Attend professional conferences…on us!
