Twin Rivers Unified School District is hiring certificated teachers! We have open positions for ECE, Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Visual and Performing Arts, Counselors, and Special Education teachers. Join us for a teacher recruitment fair hosted at our district office. We are offering a $4,500 hiring bonus dependent on current needs and a $3,000 annual stipend for Special Education teachers. There is no limit to service credit. We also offer new teacher support and coaching, professional development, and innovative teaching programs. For experience to qualify, it must be: ~ Credentialed (Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit experience does NOT qualify) ~ Contracted for at least 75% of the days required for the position ~ Similar/like experience The purpose of our job fair is to provide an engaging experience for participants. Various district departments will have booths set up to showcase their interdependent support efforts and initiatives that contribute to our school community. Representatives from California State University Sacramento and the Sacramento County Office of Education will be present to share information about grant-funded 1-year programs aimed at adding additional credentials. Additionally, representatives from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing are attending to answer any questions you may have about credentialing requirements and, for some fair participants, internship eligibility. One of the highlights of the event will be a series of 10-minute talks by speakers covering various topics related to teaching in Twin Rivers. This includes a panel discussion featuring first-year teachers and their induction mentors, who will share valuable insights and stories about their experiences in the district. Furthermore, we will be conducting both scheduled and impromptu interviews during the job fair. *Should you choose to interview, you will have the opportunity to meet with a panel of administrators who have vacancies at their sites.
