The Interim County Superintendent of Schools shall be the chief executive of the Board of Education. The management of the County Office of Education, in all its aspects, shall be delegated to the Interim Superintendent who shall carry out management functions in accordance with the policies adopted by the Board. The Superintendent shall supervise and direct the staff in carrying out County policies and regulations, and assist the Board to reach sound decisions, establish policies and discharge those duties which the law requires of the Board. This position requires a Master’s Degree in Education Administration and/or related fields as a minimum requirement. The appropriate supervision or administrative credential is also required. All levels of upper management experience will be considered.
