San Diego Unified School District is currently seeking candidates for your 2016-2017 elementary Vietnamese teacher pool. Our program is a two-way Vietnamese immersion school and offers students a challenging and rigorous academic curriculum as well as cultural and academic exchanges with students of sister schools. Candidates must be energetic enthusiastic, creative individuals who communicate well with parents, staff and teachers. Candidates must be committed to building and promoting the school's World Language program and to working collaboratively with colleagues to develop strong and reflective instruction. Candidates must be fluent in Vietnamese and English and skilled at reading and writing in simplified Vietnamese form. Additional, candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree, and experience teaching in an elementary school setting. An advanced degree in education and a valid California teaching credential are preferred.
