Job Summary
• Drives a school bus or transportation vehicle over assigned routes in accordance with an established time schedule. • Transports children to and from school. • Loads and unloads students safely at designated stops and on study trips. • Adheres to school policies and procedures regarding student discipline, and public contact with parents and community members. • Performs daily safety inspections. • Stops traffic and escorts children across streets, when necessary. • Prepares daily reports on student loads, mileage, trip details, etc • Reports problems or equipment malfunctions. • May transport children with special needs. • Washes, sweeps, mops, and polishes the interior and exterior of a school bus. • May refuel vehicles. • Performs minor first aid. • Clean up after ill children.

Whittier Christian High School is seeking a part time bus driver for our high school. The candidate must be aligned with our Christian values and adhere to the highest safety standards. Routes include to and from school, field trips, sporting events and other routes. Candidates must have the following to apply:
Current DL-45 Certificate
Preferred -> Type 1 Bus / Dual Air Brake / Transit
Current DL-51 Medical / Good Driving History (H6)
