ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned. 1. To assist students(s) to whom assigned in any physical tasks directed by supervisor. 2. Special education parapros give reinforcement to students in the areas of social studies, math, science, and reading or other areas as directed by supervisor. 3. Support the teacher on methods, materials and strategies for reinforcements on target children. The teacher will plan all lessons and be responsible for instruction. 4. Aid teacher, when requested, in communication between home and school. 5. Participate in on-going staff development. 6. Help plan scheduling for meeting the needs of students. Help collect and/or prepare materials to support student learning. 7. Communicate regularly with teachers as to student’s needs and progress. 8. Treat all information about the school, teachers, children and their families as strictly confidential.
