The Conservatory of Vocal/Instrumental Arts College High School (COVAH) is a small high performing 9 - 12th grade Charter school based on the Merritt Collge campus in Oakland. COVAH is a college/high school with a focus on music and performing arts. Students take concurrent courses, earning college credits while in high school, as well as participate in blended (online) learning. Full-time teachers teach core subjects (Math/Science or English/History).  COVAH follows the Common Core State Standards, and is a Literature based program.  The ideal candidate will have single subject math and science credentiials or a combination of 2 single subject credentials and have a background in music and/or the performing arts.
