Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: • A Current California Teaching or Pupil Personnel Services Credential or an out-of-state equivalent by July 2013. • Authorization to work with English Language Learners, commonly known as CLAD, ELA (English Learner Authorization) or BCLAD Certification (Out-of-state applicants may be granted one year to earn their CLAD certification in California). • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (SFUSD does not sponsor H1B Visas) If you are interested in teaching but do not currently have a credential, click the following link to learn about intern programs: http://portal.sfusd.edu/template/default.cfm?page=employees.teacherinterns
