Job Summary

In an effort to better prepare students for future careers in specific sectors, the Santa Cruz County Office of Education is proud to support and promote courses under the California Career Technical Education Program . By participating in career pathway courses, students focus on areas of personal interest, build skills, and potentially develop a passion in the special area. Students will have the opportunity to take Career Technical CIS courses and earn college credit through our (ICT) Cybersecurity/ Networking or Information Support and Services Career Pathway with Cabrillo College.

Requirements / Qualifications

For the 2023-2024 school year, This recruitment is for up to a 1.0 Full Time Equivalent assignment. Depending on the applicant pool, this recruitment may result in varying FTEs for more than one candidate. Final determination will be made during the interview phase. Positions that have an .50 FTE or higher will be eligible for benefits. Please read the attached Job Announcement for additional information. Must hold, or be eligible to hold, a Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching Credential in the industry sector of Information and Communication Technologies.

Employees will receive sick leave, no vacation is earned for certificated employees. This position may be assigned to various school sites through out Santa Cruz County which could include Diamond Tech (PVUSD), San Lorenzo Valley High, Santa Cruz High, and Soquel High.
