Where traditional public education is struggling for relevance and enrollment, charter public schools are wrestling with creating great reasons for parents to choose their schools for the education of their children. The CEO is the single most important employee to the Governing Board as they hire this person and charge them with executing on the goals and objectives of the organization to achieve success. Annually the Governing Board will review key performance metrics to ensure that the CEO is achieving success in multiple areas so that the organization is healthy, growing, and relevant as a place for students to think, communicate, and achieve.
